How runtime is calculated

Formula: (Capacity × Efficiency) ÷ Total Watts = Hours. Default 85% efficiency reflects real-world DC-to-AC conversion losses — LiFePO4 batteries often hit 90%+. Device wattage can vary: a mini fridge cycles on and off, so its average draw is much lower than its rated watts. Temperature, battery age, and load mix also affect real-world runtime.
